The Houston Texans bolstered their linebacker depth Monday with the signing of free agent Sione Takitaki.
Takitaki, 31, played his first five campaigns in Cleveland before spending one season each with New England and Minnesota.
He appeared in three games with the Vikings last season and contributed three tackles on special teams.
A third-round pick by the Browns in 2019, Takitaki has 292 tackles, four sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles in 86 career games (40 starts).
He returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown against Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020.
